In Honor of Veterans Day, 11 of Our Favorite Country Songs That Pay Tribute to Members of the U.S. Military

Veterans Day is a chance to honor all military veterans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces. There are so many ways to pay tribute to a veteran—a tip of the hat, a hearty handshake or even a simple “thank you.” You could also dedicate one of these 11 country tunes, in honor of Veterans Day on Nov. 11, to your favorite vet.

While there are lots of great patriotic songs like Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the U.S.A.” and Brooks & Dunn’s “Only in America,” we tried to select songs that focused on soldiers or their families for this playlist. Enjoy, and thanks to all of the veterans who have served our country.
