Check Out Frankie Ballard’s Hopeful Single “It All Started With a Beer” on “Live With Kelly”

Fresh off the release of his new album, El Rio, on Friday, June 10, Frankie Ballard took his talents to Live With Kelly for a performance of “It All Started With a Beer.”

“The thing I’ve always loved about ‘It All started With a Beer’ is there’s a deeper message of hope in this song,” says Frankie to Nash Country Daily. “It’s obviously about a couple people reflecting on how this great thing, this great love in their life, started in a really small, humble way, and they are celebrating that. But not everybody has that person in their life, or that friend that they really need or that job opportunity they’ve been looking for. I think what this song tells those people is ‘Hey, I’ve got to get up tonight, I’ve got to get out tonight, and I’ve got to try.’ It may happen for me. I may meet that person tonight, that friend that I’m really counting on now, and it might happen just like that, and it can happen for me. So they get out and do it. The hope in that is something I think I initially fell in love with in that song. I’m glad people are digging it, and I hope it keeps climbing [up the charts].”
