Blake Shelton Nets No. 1 Trifecta With Top Album, Single & Movie

It pays to be honest.

That’s the literal truth for Blake Shelton, whose new album, If I’m Honest, debuted this week at No. 1 on both Billboard’s Top Albums Sales chart and Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, selling 170,000 total units.

In addition, the album’s first single, “Came Here to Forget,” reached the top spot on both Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and the Country Aircheck chart. “Came Here to Forget” is Blake’s 17th consecutive No. 1 single and his 22nd overall.

But that’s not all. The Angry Birds movie, an adaptation of the popular app, was the No. 1 film in the country for the week ending May 22. Blake provided the voice of a pig character—Earl—and penned and sang the song “Friends” for the flick.

Congrats, Blake. That’s a nice little week by anyone’s standards.
