Brad Paisley kicked off his Life Amplified World Tour, Thursday night (May 19) in Sacramento, Calif., to a packed house. His fans were treated to familiar tunes including “Beat This Summer,” “This is Country Music” and “Crushin’ It” during his more than 90-minute set.
While most artists invite one lucky fan to the stage during their shows, Brad set up two working bars on stage giving fans a chance to join him, grab a beer and be a part of the show.
But the story of the night was the return of Tyler Farr. Tyler, who was forced to back out of Lee Brice’s Life Off My Years tour earlier this year, received the diagnosis that a polyp had developed on his vocal cords. After vocal cord surgery and much vocal rest, the singer landed a spot on Brad’s tour and took to the stage sounding better than ever. Fans at the Toyota Amphitheater went wild when Tyler teamed with Brad to belt out a version of “I’m Still a Guy.”
Maddie & Tae opened the show with a 25-minute set of their own singing hits like “Girl In A Country Song” and “Shut Up and Fish.” The duo also rejoined Brad later in the evening for a stirring rendition of “Whiskey Lullaby.”
