First things first, can we just pretend those duets didn’t happen? Not great, not necessary . . . just fillers. As far as the solos go . . . this was the first time I had a really difficult time picking my favorite. It came down to La’Porsha Renae, MacKenzie Bourg and Trent Harmon. Ultimately, Trent gets my pick yet again, and I’ll tell you why in just a moment, but first:
La’Porsha Renae sang The Beatle’s “Come Together.” She actually PERFORMED! That was rad.
Usually, she stands there and works the camera, but she went total diva tonight (in a good way).
We learned tonight that MacKenzie is pretty much Troy Bolton from High School Musical.

Alright, so Trent gets my vote for one simple reason. I usually write notes during each performance, I didn’t write ONE thing down during Trent’s version of “Stand By Me” because I was captivated. The end.
Avalon Young: B4N PYT
Last thing, I was really surprised at how sad I was to see Avalon go. There was something I really loved about her.
Keep at it girl, because you could totally be the female version of The Weeknd or Bieber.
Oh! And, I love when you tweet me your reactions. Donnie Napier hit the nail on the head with this tweet:
